A Froggy Honeymoon!

Heralding the beginning of the monsoon season, the frogs are having their honeymoon, undisturbed by guests at the homestay because of the lockdown.

A welcome sight, for the presence of frogs, is an indicator of the overall health of the environment. As the queen frog is laying her eggs in a protective nest of sticky lather, the princes are busy fertilizing them, careful not to let a single egg go to waste. The farmer in me smiles as he sees nature create her army of pest control.
