Through singing birds and fragrant flowers, through the sunlight warming your skin, through the gently blowing breeze, through the smell of wet earth at the first kiss of rain, through the fresh fruit hanging upon trees, nature always whispers to her children, ‘I love you’!

The other morning, walking in the garden, we spotted a couple of beautiful yellow birds, with buttery smooth plumage, flying through the trees. After a while, one of them flew into our shed and perching on the tress, started talking to us.

My son brought the camera and to our delight, our visitor started posing for pictures. Then it flew to a nearby tree, scarcely interrupting its speech and went on posing like a model!
We searched for its name, but could find no endemic bird to match. The nearest match seems to be the Yellow Budgie, or Budgerigar, an Australian! Curious indeed!
